New Nokia with Android One passes by means of the FCC

The FCC licensed a brand new HMD cellphone – the Nokia TA-1157 – and revealed a few of its specs. It will likely be one of many smaller handsets, measuring 149mm tall and 71mm broad (the Nokia 5.1 is 151.1 x 70.7mm, for reference).

This Nokia shall be out there in two configurations – 2/16GB and three/32GB. Each variations are twin SIM telephones for GSM networks (so no Verizon compatibility). It’s clearly an entry-level gadget, although not Android Go – the FCC label on the again clearly says Android One.

And there’s a twin digital camera on the again, which hints that this is likely to be a Plus mannequin (the three.1 and 5.1 have single cams, their Plus variations have twin cams). There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint reader on there as effectively.

The opposite element revealed by the FCC is the three,000mAh battery capability. The fee examined the cellphone’s NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz b/g/n solely).

This is not the Nokia 1 Plus, in case that is what you have been considering (the 1s and 2s are Android Go telephones). And this appears too little to carry to the MWC, so it might get a smaller reveal someday quickly.
